Riikassa 4 päivää meni rattoisasti kaupunkia kierrellen, jalan ja ratikalla, shoppaillessa vaikka paljon mitään ei ostettu kun hintataso oli suomen tasoa, syödessä ja juodessa hyvin, se oli ainoa mikä oli halpaa ja yöelämässä tietty piti pariin otteeseen käydä. Yhtenä päivänä käytiin day spassa, käsi-/jalkahoidoissa+ kasvohoidossa. Setäni ja hänen vaimonsa sattuivat samaan aikaan Riikaan niin yhtenä päivänä treffasimme heitä. Mukava kaupunki, vaikka seuraavan kerran menemme ehdottomasti kesä aikaan!
We spent 4 days in Riga, we walked/took a tram around the city, did some shopping but not much because the price level was as high as in Finland. We ate and drank well, it was cheap and went out partying few times. Also we spent half day of sunday in day spa, we took manicure/pedicure and some facial treatments.My uncle and his wife were there at same time and one day we spent time with them. Lovely city, but next time we'll go there during the summer :)

Daugava joki kulkee Riian läpi. Daugava river runs through Riga.

Kuvan alareunassa näkyvissä halleissa on nykyään iso tori, siellä myydään kaikenlaista ruokaa ja mm.huonekaluja. Ensimmäisen maailmansodan aikaan niitä käytettiin ilmalaiva halleina.
Inside those big halls is huge market place, you can find food, furniture etc. They used to be storages for zeppelins during the world war 1.
